When a firearm is malfunctioning, unreliable, or simply does not feel right, continued use may make the problem worse. Cedar Ridge Gunworks provides methodical inspection, diagnosis, and repair for common mechanical and functional issues.
Identify the Problem
The firearm is inspected to determine what is causing the malfunction or reliability concern. This may include checking individual components, controls, fit, wear, springs, magazines, ammunition-related factors, and previous modifications.
Explain the Findings
Once the likely cause is identified, I will explain what I found, what repair is recommended, and what the expected cost will be. Additional work or parts replacement will not be completed without your approval.
Repair and Function Check
Approved repairs are completed using appropriate parts and procedures. The firearm is then reassembled and function checked to confirm that its controls and mechanical systems are operating as intended.
